The financial & services firm specializing in real estate has set up a new venture on investment management, focused on India, under the name “Segregated Funds Group” (SFG). This independent initiative will manage domestic and foreign capital over a series of focused and dedicated investment themes. The new investment vehicle has been set up in response to the growing needs of investors, end users and other stakeholders in the Indian Real Estate Market.
The new set up was a natural extension of the Jones Lang LaSalle’s presence in consulting services, and was based on Jones Lang LaSalle’s vast experience in Funds management business across the world. Jones Lang LaSalle group manages over USD 48 billion across the globe, including Asia-Pacific, Europe and Americas.
Scheme Residential Opportunities Fund – I (ROF-I) is the first scheme launched by SFG in December 2013. This business envisages managing a series of funds with distinct investment themes.
Through factors such as an independent and experienced Management Team, Focused Investment Approach, Distinct Investment Themes, Micro market knowledge and Active Asset Management Capability, the business will also have an active asset management platform to manage the investments.
