Rohin R. Shah has over 25 years of experience in the UK real estate investment markets Key client base is 60 private family offices with responsibility for a UK portfolio of commercial property with a value in the region of GBP 750 million and a property portfolio in Denmark with a value in the region of GBP 250 million.
He started his career with Jones Lang Wootton in 1986 in its London office. He joined Marylebone (earlier known as ‘Meghraj Properties Limited’) in 1992 and was involved with the Indian property markets since 1992. He established Trammell Crow Meghraj (TCM), latterly Chesterton Meghraj, in April 1995. Merged TCM with JLL in 2007.
He associated with Saffron Capital Advisors in Mauritius to focus on foreign investment into Indian real estate development. Assistance provided to Eredene Capital plc, and Yatra Capital Limited, raising $500 million of equity. Saffron has now been merged with IL&FS to create the largest independent fund management house in India.
